Crystal is completely obsessed with ALL things Beauty! She has always had a passion to envision, mold and create numerous styles. She can remember being 7 years old, and begging her Mom to bring home all the makeup, nail polish, and lip stick that she could get her hands on so that she could style all her friends. As Crystal grew, there was never another thought in her mind, she was going to be a Hair and Makeup Artist. She packed up her bags, and hit the road. Leaving behind her Virginia roots, Crystal hit the road in search of the bright lights of New York City.
Crystal gained her certifications, training and education at the Paul Mitchell School where she honed and mastered her skills. Starting from the bottom, she started assisting experienced Bridal hair and Makeup artists in and around NY and NJ. Her work was noticed, and the opportunity to join the big show had arrived, she was asked to join a Major Morning news show, interacting, styling and profiling with major celebrities on a daily basis.
After building her portfolio of work, Crystal was accepted and is a proud member of the IATSE Local 798 Makeup and Hair Stylists Union based out of New York City. This has opened the door for more opportunities, including Crystal’s current role as a main Hairstylist for the Dr. Oz show on Fox.
Crystal is certainly thrilled and grateful to work with celebrities’ every day, but her passion project will always remain her Bridal work and in 2016 she officially started her own company: Crystal Marie Bridal LLC. Crystal’s rapport with clients is unmatched, and the service second to none. Crystal is a master at easing the nerves of an anxious Bride. She knows it’s your big day, and will make you feel at peace, making your big day as Stress-Free as possible. Crystal gets to know her brides, their likes and dislikes.
